About Us

Silver Wings Flying Company is (or soon will be) the Pacific Northwest’s premier facility for vintage airplane scenic flights and tail wheel instruction.

Take an industrious face-stuck-in-the-airport-fence, dreamer, Army pilot raised on old biplanes, mix in a supportive, ex-federal officer,  ultra organized and bean counting beauty, they produce a couple of airport inhabiting offspring all living their lives around a couple of family heirloom antique airplanes and voila! Silver Wings was hatched.

Over the years, giving friends and family rides in our vintage airplanes elicited such emotions and enthusiasm we decided to hang out our own shingle, and maybe even pay or bill or two in the process.

We are all passionate about our airplanes and about sharing the history and unique experience each one offers. Our sole purpose for being in business is to provide the most enjoyable scenic flight experience and instruction available anywhere.
